Jul 21, 2021 · Microwaving no more adds "radiation" to this than it does to your cup o' noodles. Imo, the main reason to melt slowly over steam would be the consistency. In a double boiler, one can stir almost constantly and achieve even, and slow, thorough melting/heating. If you stir it every fifteen seconds, the microwave method produces similar results.Get Price
